Multipurpose assistance dogs are dogs that are highly trained to assist children with multiple issues. Children with disabilities coming from premature birth, syndromes such as Down’s, apraxia, ADHD, fraxile X, life threatening medical illnesses or a variety of mental health diagnosis that cannot fit exactly into one of the categories of service dogs, may benefit from a multipurpose assistance dog.
